Feedback & Support

Computtite is a free product built by Sxnnyside Project under the SaaX (Software as an Experience) philosophy. SaaX means the software is distributed entirely free — no freemium tier, no feature paywalls, no usage caps — and is funded voluntarily by users who find value in it. There is no VC backing, no advertising, and no data monetization.

Reporting Bugs

Open an issue on the GitHub repository. A good bug report includes:

  • Computtite version and build (from Settings → About)
  • Operating system and version (e.g., Windows 11 22H2, macOS 14.4, Ubuntu 22.04)
  • Workspace mode (local or cloud)
  • A clear description of the expected behavior vs. what actually happened
  • Steps to reproduce the issue reliably
  • Screenshots or screen recordings if the issue is visual

Requesting Features

Open a GitHub Discussion (not an Issue) for feature requests. Frame requests in terms of the problem you need to solve, not a specific implementation. "I need to track which assets are covered by a specific insurance policy" is more useful than "add an insurance field". This context helps prioritize requests that solve real operational problems.

Supporting the Project

If Computtite saves your team time or replaces a paid tool, consider supporting development through Patreon. Patreon supporters fund the developer's time to maintain the project, investigate bugs, and build new features. Any contribution level is appreciated — the goal is sustainability, not profit.

Staying in Touch

The best way to follow Computtite's development is through the GitHub repository, where release notes, changelog entries, and discussions are published. You can also find the project through Sxnnyside Project on social and creative platforms.
