Privacy policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Overview
Computtite is developed and maintained by Sxnnyside Project. This Privacy Policy explains what data Computtite collects, how it is stored, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. The product operates in two distinct modes — Local and Cloud — with significantly different data handling in each.
By using Computtite, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact us to request deletion of any data we hold.
Local mode
In Local mode, all workspace data — assets, employees, departments, assignment history — is stored exclusively on your device. No workspace content is transmitted to any server. A Computtite account is still required to use the application, and authentication data (email address and hashed password) is processed through our cloud service when you sign in.
Automatic backups created by Computtite are stored locally on your device. These files never leave your machine unless you manually copy or move them.
In Local mode, no telemetry is ever sent, regardless of your telemetry settings.
Cloud mode
In Cloud mode, workspace data is synchronized to a cloud database operated by Sxnnyside Project using Supabase as an infrastructure sub-processor (see Third-Party Processors below). Data stored in Cloud mode includes: workspace configuration, asset records, employee and department records, assignment history, audit log, member information (email addresses and roles), and permission profiles.
Authentication uses email and password. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Access to data is restricted by row-level security policies — members can only access workspaces they belong to.
Telemetry
Computtite collects anonymous usage telemetry to understand feature adoption and diagnose errors. Telemetry is opt-in and can be disabled at any time from Profile settings. Disabling telemetry immediately clears the local telemetry queue and stops all future transmission.
Telemetry does not include: asset content, field values, employee names, department names, IP addresses, or any data that could identify you or your organization. Each installation is identified by a randomly generated ID that is not linked to your account or email address.
Integrations
When you connect Google Sheets or Notion, Computtite stores OAuth access tokens on your device in encrypted form. Long-lived credentials are stored exclusively server-side and are never included in the application bundle. Connection metadata (integration type, connection status) is stored in the workspace database.
Computtite does not share your asset data with Google or Notion except as part of the explicit export actions you initiate. Each export is a one-time push of the data you select.
Website analytics
This website uses Umami for privacy-respecting web analytics. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No data is shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
Third-party processors
Sxnnyside Project uses the following sub-processor to operate the cloud service:
- Supabase, Inc. — database hosting, authentication, and storage. Data may be stored on servers located in the United States. Supabase's privacy practices are described at supabase.com/privacy.
If you are located in the European Union or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, be aware that your cloud workspace data may be processed in the United States. We rely on Supabase's compliance framework (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable) for cross-border data transfers.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected.
- Right to deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data. Cloud workspace data is permanently removed within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Right to data portability: Export your workspace data at any time via Settings → Cloud & Storage → Export database.
- Right to withdraw consent: Disable telemetry at any time from Profile settings. This does not affect data already transmitted.
- Right to object: Object to specific processing activities. Contact us to discuss.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal.sxnnyside@sxnnysideproject.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
In Local mode, data is retained until you delete the workspace file from your device. In Cloud mode, workspace data is retained while your account is active. Deleting a workspace permanently removes all associated data and cannot be undone. Account data (email address and authentication records) is retained for 30 days after account deletion to allow recovery, then permanently purged.
Children
Computtite is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law and within the timeframes required by regulation (including GDPR's 72-hour authority notification requirement where applicable).
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Mexico. To the extent required by local law, it is also intended to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), and other applicable data protection regulations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the GitHub repository at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Computtite after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
